Our client, a global leader in captive insurance, located in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands is currently seeking an Account Manager to join their team in their Bermuda office.
The position will include the following tasks:
- Preparation of day-to-day financial records for a portfolio of captive insurance clients
- Preparation of regulatory filings and financial statements under GAAP and insurance accounting
- Coordinate annual audit of captives with independent audit firms
- Liaison with client to foster solid relationships
- Ensure on-going compliance with captive insurance regulations.
Suitable candidates will posses the following skills:
- Qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA, CPA or other internationally recognized accounting designation)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Well organized and detail oriented
- Experience working as an auditor in a public accounting firm
- Experience in insurance is not required as comprehensive training will be provided
Competitive tax-free package:
- salary of $70,000 to $90,000 (dependant on qualifications and experience),
