We are looking for an experienced cook/chef (or someone who is super enthusiastic and excellent at multi-tasking) to join our small team over the busy Coromandel summer season. The position is live-in and includes accommodation, food and all expenses plus a weekly wage. It is important that you are open-minded and interested in healthful living but can handle yourself effieiently in a busy kitchen as the main cook. Our cafe is vegetarian and organic where possible and also houses a small organic store. We foster a relaxed, rustic environment but require a high level of self responsibility, maturity and work presentation from our staff. The cafe is an iconic Coromandel destination and is highly recommended both nationally and internationally by many publications and guidebooks. The position is available immediately and continues until around April or May.
