This general service repair workshop is located close to a busy centre with both company and private customers. They are seeking a skilled New Zealand Qualified Automotive Technician to assist in the day-to-day servicing, repairs, diagnostics and faultfinding on a wide variety of vehicles. The workshop is equipped with all the required modern equipment and is close to modern shops and all transport facilities.
This position would ideally suit a senior keen mechanic with general all round automotive skills on all makes of cars and light diesel powered vehicles (including European) who wishes to join a privately owned well run business with a friendly team spirit and work environment.
Quick accurate diagnostic skills are a must as is WOF authority, be able to price jobs, order parts, work unsupervised and have good customer contact skills as you will be required to liaise with customers directly from time to time. You must be a team player with a friendly personality and a self starter with good sense of humour.
The company has been in business for some years with a loyal and established clientele, and prides itself on the quality of their work and standards. You will enjoy working in this well equipped workshop where you will also have the possibility to progress into a more senior role in the future.
